Each bottling in The First Editions Authors' Series is dedicated to a famous author, with their likeness on the label and their history on the back of the bottle. The noble bottles are packed in a carefully and high-quality processed gift box. All casks are personally selected by Andrew Laing. The Blair Athol matured for 31 years in a Sherry Hogshead HL18442, which was filled in 1989. In March 2021, 236 bottles dedicated to the writer Arthur Schnitzler were filled. The single malt comes without chill filtration and without coloring with 45.6% vol. into the bottle.
